Deleting your data

This page explains what data Agent Commander holds and how to delete every part of it. You do not need the app or an account to follow it.
There is no account to delete
Agent Commander has no sign-up, no login, and no user profile. We do not operate a server that stores your conversations, your code, or your files. The app is a client for a server you install and run yourself, so deleting your data means deleting it from places you already control.
Your data lives in three places
- On your phone. The paired session, the local cache of conversations, your settings, and the notification secret. To delete: open Settings in the app and choose Unpair — this removes the session, the cached data and the notification secret, and tells your server to stop sending notifications. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored as well.
- On your own server. Conversation transcripts, working-session logs, tool output, file diffs, result files, and tasks — all inside the server's data directory (by default a folder named agentcmd-engine in your home directory). To delete: stop the service, then either run the bundled uninstall script with the purge option, which removes the data directory and the configuration file after asking you to confirm, or simply delete the data directory yourself. Your project directories are not part of the app and are never touched by either method.
- At the notification relay. When you turn notifications on, your device token is sent once to a small relay that the project owner runs, because a mobile app distributed through the app stores must use the publisher's Firebase project to receive push. The relay stores nothing — the secret your server holds *is* your device token in encrypted form, and the relay simply decrypts it, forwards one notification to Google, and forgets. There is no registration record to delete. Turning notifications off in the app, or unpairing, makes your server stop sending immediately; any secret already issued stops working within 90 days.
Data held by third parties
- The AI provider of the agent you chose — Anthropic for Claude Code, OpenAI for Codex, Google for Antigravity. The requests you send and the source code the assistant reads are processed by that provider in order to answer you. Their handling and retention are governed by that provider's privacy policy: Anthropic · OpenAI · Google.
- Google Firebase. Notifications pass through Google Cloud Messaging in transit. Anonymous crash reports go to Firebase Crashlytics and are kept for at most 90 days. Crash reports contain no conversation content and are not linked to any account, because there is no account.
